Crib Opens 32nd Restaurant in Yukon, Oklahoma
Rib Crib’s thirty-second restaurant, located
in Yukon, Oklahoma, opened on January 5, 2004. Located
adjacent to I-40, just west of Oklahoma City (and next
door to Mustang, OK), this ‘Crib has traffic counts that
are bound to create high visibility and awareness for
local residents.
Despite frigid weather, opening day demonstrated
that everyone’s dedication and long days were well worth
every lost hour of sleep. Jubilant guests arrived en masse
for the grand opening and “All-You-Can-Eat” Rib Night
Tuesday, and continue to frequent the restaurant. The
opening training team anticipated this response due to
the overwhelming number of guests who arrived “early”
during the training week, and were prepared accordingly
with smiling and well-trained cooks, hosts, and servers.
Yukon’s daily sales are a continuing testament to the
approval “Yukonians” (and “Mustangites”) have of Rib Crib’s
barbecue, service, and ambiance.
Leading Yukon’s management team is Al(vin)
Lewis, General Manager, who has many years of people management
and guest service experience, not to mention being on
the opening training team for several recent Rib Cribs.
Managing the restaurant with Al are Renee Benson, Curtis
Price, Brian Holt, and Trent Jones. Together, this group
of talented managers provides continued guidance to their
crew, ensuring that Rib Crib’s high standards of service,
quality, and cleanliness are provided to their guests.
The opening of our thirty-second restaurant
at the beginning of a new year is a great way to start
2004. And we’re just getting started!
