Rib
Crib. Where BOLD Began.
It all started in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 1992,
the first Rib Crib restaurant opened in an eighty-year-old
house. Seeing as how our first location wasn’t
even air-conditioned, it’s clearly been
about the food all along: amazing sauces, original
rubs and mouth-watering smoked meats. Well over
a decade and a ton of franchises later, it’s
still about the food. But today’s Rib
Crib is about first-rate facilities too: relaxed,
inviting, uniquely atmospheric…and air-conditioning.
A
Wide Open Range.
Nothing but opportunity in sight. It’s
the outlook you’d expect from a group
of energetic folks united by one great idea.
That idea is to combine an outstanding barbecue-based
menu with exceptional tableside service in unexpectedly
upscale surroundings. It’s not something
you see around much. Which is strange, give
the enthusiastic response we get in every new
market we reach. And we’re reaching more
of them everyday.
A
Breed Apart.
Branded for success. Differentiation. Positioning.
Branding. It comes down to knowing who you are
and what you do best. At Rib Crib, we’ve
done our homework and developed a unique business
model that’s complete to the last detail.
And our unique, “Where Bold Began”
slogan lives in every part of our company –
from the interiors of our restaurants, to the
folks that work here, to the delicious barbecue
we smoke up every day.
Beyond
Herd Mentality.
Leaders are born…then made. If you’re
going to ride, you’ve got to be smart,
spirited and specially trained. At Rib Crib,
we tailor our training to supplement the natural
talents of our staff in order to help them realize
their full potential. Our finely-tuned operations
manuals and training programs are tops in the
industry.
Don’t
Fence Me In.
Taking care of our own. At Rib Crib, over 80%
of our corporate staff were once employees at
our restaurants. What does that mean? For one
thing, we’re talking big opportunity for
growth here. Working at Rib Crib can mean much
more than just a job and a paycheck. It’s
a bold career move.
Trail Talk.
I’ve worked for some other major restaurant
chains, but their training isn’t anything
compared to what I’ve gotten in this job.
Rib Crib procedures and policies are crystal
clear, and their trainers honestly seem to want
to do everything they can to help me succeed
as a manager.
- Jake H., Manager
There aren’t many companies anymore where
you can start at the bottom as a cook and, with
the right kind of initiative, end up as a corporate
executive. I know this whole scenario may seem
completely unbelievable to some people, but
that’s exactly how it happened to me!
- Phillip S., Director of Operations
I really feel like I’m learning something
valuable every single day. I learn from customers,
other managers, and especially, the staff. They’re
not just employees here to pull a shift. They’re
a team that works hard to communicate and cooperate
– with me and with each other. And that’s
really important, because the pace here is pretty
quick; there are no boring days at this job!
